Description:

Libratherm offers simple safety Temperature Controller, which is low cost, accurate, rugged and reliable instrument, designed to use as redundant protection controller in addition to main DDC/PID/PLC controller. It can very well be used in place of conventional capillary type thermostat.

Capillary type thermostat has limitation of installation and sensing point. The sensing distance is restricted due to fixed length of capillary tube  (max. 1 feet) and which is not always feasible on the site.

Since LSC-120 can be used with standard RTD or K type thermocouple, there is no limitations of location of sensing point. Sensor can be installed with any length of extension cable and it can be installed in the panel or in the far safe location, away from  heat, oil, moisture and dust free zone.
 
LSC-120 offers safety temperature setting using front panel accurately calibrated dial. The internal relay will trip, when actual temperature crosses the set value. Front panel LED indicates the status of power, faulty sensor and trip relay.

Description:
Libratherm offers high quality and low cost, versatile microcontroller based Temperature/Process controller  model  DTC-903.  It  is  designed   to   suit  general   purpose  industrial  temperature  and process  control  applications  for  precise  and  accurate  measurement  and  control.  DTC-903  offers the  facility  to  use  it  as  heating  control  in  on-off  or  Time  proportional  P  +  I  mode  and  cooling control in On-Off mode.
DTC-903 accepts user selectable inputs from J or K type thermocouple or RTD (Pt-100) sensors or linear signal of 4-20mA.  Being microcontroller based  1oC  or 0.1oC  indicating accuracy is achieved by software linearization technique, where non- linear nature of thermocouple and RTD sensors is linearized for accurate indication. User can select the desired range of Pt-100 inputs.
Two independent set points are programmable over the full range of the selected  input. Each set point  can  also  be  configured  for  High  Alarm  (Internal  relay  turns  ON  when  actual  temperature value exceeds the set point), Low Alarm (Internal relay turns ON when actual temperature value is below the set point), Deviation Alarm (whenever the process value is outside the band, the relay turns ON) and OFF state (Where relays will not turn ON under any condition).   The control outputs are   optically   isolated   in   the   form   of   DC   pulse,   AC   SSR   (Triac)   or   electromechanical   relays. Retransmission  output  of  4-20mA  proportional  to  the  process  value  is  available  as  additional features. Whenever control action is not desired, user can configure DTC-903 as indicator only.

The Indicator series DPI-912 and DPI-902 offers Universal or fixed input of J, K or any other thermocouple, RTD(Pt-100) and 4-20mA linear signal. For temperature measurement 1oC/0.1oC Indicating accuracy is guaranteed using software linearization algorithm and with linearized retransmission output.

The controller series DPC-903, DPI-912 and DPI-913 in 1/8DIN and 1/4DIN cut out sizes, offers both on-off and time proportional control logic and can be used for heating/cooling or any process control application with high/low configurable alarm relays. Linearized 4-20mA retransmission output is the added facility.

The PID controller series PID-903, PID-912 and PID-913 in 1/8DIN and 1/4DIN cut out sizes, offers both on-off and linear or switching PID control logic and can be used for heating or any process control application with high or low configurable alarm relays. Linear PID control output can be used to control heating power through external Thyristor power regulator or through linear proportional valves in direct or reverse action or same 4-20mA can be used as linearized retransmission output.
